ADMISSIONS OVERVIEW

Thank you for your interest in the King David School. Our application process consists of a few simple steps.

1. Visit our beautiful campus and watch our dynamic school in action. Call 480-991-4333 ext. 216 to schedule your personal tour with Sharon Rendelman, Director of Admissions.
2. Complete the application and turn it in with your application fee.
3. Send both the Teacher Recommendation Form and the Release of Student Records Authorization to your current school or pre-school.
4. Admissions Process for Grades 1-8:  Schedule a day for your child to spend at our school.  Your child will visit classrooms and interact with other students so that he or she can experience our academic and student life here at King David and so that we can get to know your child.
5. Admissions Process for Kindergarten: Schedule a “shadow day” for your child to spend at our school. This gives your child an opportunity to become acquainted with the school, and it gives us a chance to make an assessment of his or her academic skills and social interaction.  During the “shadow day,” your child will visit the Kindergarten classrooms and will interact with other Kindergarten applicants.  In addition, we will assess your child to determine his or her level of Kindergarten readiness and to ensure proper classroom placement.
6. If you may be seeking financial aid, please schedule a confidential meeting with our Director of Admissions to discuss our financial aid and scholarship programs.
